Lemon Bundt Cake

Mom's tasty lemon bundt cake that you always seem to forget about until she makes it again and you're obsessed

Ingredients
  • 1/2 Lb (2 Sticks) Butter
  • 2 Cups White Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • 5 Tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 2 Tbsp + 1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 Lb Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Stick Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Grease and flour 10" bundt pan
  3. Cream 1/2 cup butter, white sugar
  4. Beat in eggs
  5. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternating with buttermilk
  6. Add 2 tbsp lemon zest and 2 tbsp lemon juice
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes
  8. For icing. Thoroughly mix powdered sugar, 1 stick butter, 3 tbsp lemon zest and 1/2 cup lemon juice
  9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and ice immediately
