Mom's chicken wings. Good stuff!
The original recipe can be found at https://www.food.com/recipe/honey-barbecue-chicken-wings-185892
Ingredients
- 18 Chicken Wings (Or About 6 Per Person)
- 1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp. Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp. Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp. Cayenne
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 357 degrees.
- Wash, dry and season the wings with the salt, garlic, pepper, cayenne, sugar and paprika.
- Spray a cookie sheet generously with cooking spray. (Mom covers the tray with tin foil first then gives it a light spray.)
- Place the wings in a single layer on the cookie sheet, and place in the pre-heated oven.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, depending on the size of the wings, turning once.
- While wings are baking make the Sticky Honey BBQ Sauce found on Happea Cook (TM) by slowly simmering the sauce ingredients over low heat.
- When the wings are done baking (check them with a thermometer for 165 degrees), carefully spread the sauce on both sides. Or if you're adventurous, dip the HOT wings in the sauce.
- Put the wings back in the oven for 5 more minutes or until the sauce is bubbling. You're finished!
