Teriyaki Chicken

Originally called, "Baked Chicken Marinade," this recipe was gifted to Mom when she got married by Barb Kissel, who also gave Mom the recipe for Peanut Butter Popcorn.

Ingredients
  • 1 C. Soy Sauce
  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 1.2 C. Water
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ginger
  • Whole Chicken, Or Chicken Thighs, Or A Mixture Of Chicken Thighs And Chicken Breasts In The Quantity Needed To Fill The 9x13 Or 8x8 Pan.
Instructions
  1. Mix the soy sauce, sugar, water garlic powder and ginger together.
  2. Pour sauce over chicken in the pan
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until done, turning every 20 minutes. Chicken should read 165 degrees on a thermometer.
